100% Client-Side & Private

Your Uttaranchal University attendance data never leaves your device. This site has no backend server, no database, and does not require your UU-ERP login credentials or student password. Every calculation happens locally in your web browser.

What We Collect

By default, nothing. Your subject names, attendance counts, timetable periods, and target percentages are processed entirely inside your browser's memory and are never uploaded. Only if you use “Want us to calculate? Give data here” feedback or when an automatic error occurs, a private error report (attendance counts, timetable periods, target %, error message — no password, no name/roll) is sent securely via HTTPS to the owner at /api/feedback to fix course-specific bugs (e.g., BBA BBA-101 / ENV-199 / BBA-103 (G2) group markers) and to calculate your result. This report is private to the owner — never public, never shared.

Local Storage

To allow you to resume your calculation without re-entering data each time, the calculator saves your active session in your browser's localStorage. This data remains strictly on your own device and can be cleared instantly by clicking Start New Calculation or clearing browser cache.

Feedback & Automatic Error Reports (Private)

Feedback via /calculator#manual-calc-feedback and automatic error beacons are processed by a Cloudflare Pages Function at /api/feedback and forwarded privately to the owner’s email/Discord (configured via FEEDBACK_TO_EMAIL / DISCORD_WEBHOOK_URL env secrets). No reports are public. You may include your contact to receive a manual calculation reply.
